What Mewlet is
Mewlet shows today’s water next to a small spirit cat, and gives you one tap to log the next glass. That is the whole page: the cat and its ring, one row of logging buttons, and one row for reminders.
It is a reminder helper, not a health app. Mewlet repeats the goal you set for yourself. It does not advise how much anyone should drink, and it makes no claim about what drinking water will do for you. 2,000 ml is simply the default number, and you can change it.
What is in it
One tap to log
Three buttons whose sizes you choose (100 / 200 / 300 ml by default), a menu of other sizes, and a custom stepper. Undo removes the glass you logged by mistake.
The cat answers to the numbers
The cat is a mascot, not an assistant. It never chats and cannot be asked questions. It sits and blinks when you are on track, wanders off when it is bored, drinks when you log, curls up happy once the goal is done, and sleeps outside the hours you set. When the day falls behind, it lets you know — and only once you are more than one glass behind your own schedule.
In the Dynamic Island
Send the cat to the island and it sits beside a progress ring: the cat on one side, today’s water on the other. Long-press to expand it for the progress bar, the numbers, the quick-log buttons and undo. Those buttons log a glass without opening Mewlet.
iOS decides how long a Live Activity stays on screen, and only you can expand the real Dynamic Island. Mewlet will not pretend otherwise.
Reminders you set
Reminders are off until you turn them on, and iOS asks for permission at that moment rather than at first launch. Choose a window (08:00–22:00 by default) and an interval, and the cat asks for a glass inside those hours — never at night. Each reminder carries your own quick-log buttons and a “remind me in 30 minutes”. Set them to go quiet once the goal is met; tomorrow still starts on schedule.
Widgets
A home screen widget, small or medium, with the same numbers and one-tap logging. Lock Screen widgets show your progress at a glance.
Your own companion
Choose a pet photo, a favorite character or another image from Photos. Give it a name and write your own water reminder. Preview exactly where each choice appears, and restore the original cat whenever you like. Custom photos are still images.
History
Today’s drinks with their times, the last seven days, and a streak of days that met their goal. Mewlet keeps 60 days and drops the older ones.
Private by construction
Mewlet collects nothing. There is no server, no account, no analytics and no advertising, and the app makes no network requests at all — no networking code is compiled into it, so there is nowhere for anything to go.

Mewlet cannot read your other apps, your screen, your calendar, contacts, camera, microphone, location or Apple Health. The system photo picker shares only a photo you choose, which stays on your iPhone.
What you need
An iPhone. Dynamic Island features need an iPhone that has one; on other iPhones the same content appears on the Lock Screen.
Mewlet speaks English and Simplified Chinese, and you can change the language in Settings.
